Wild Rabbit Pelt - Tanning success!

Description

So I successfully sourced, skinned, salted, pickled, tanned and broken in this rabbit pelt, which was the first rabbit I ever skinned, so I felt it appropriate to try him in my first tanning attempt. It went really well! The leather is soft and flexible, and there are a few small holes and a repair-able tear from breaking it in but those don't matter... :meow:
It feels like a huge achievement and I'm happy to say I have done all that for the first time, and I have this beautifully soft pelt now which has a mountable face.
I have a lot more animals in the tan that are ready to come out tonight, and after that I'm just waiting on my fox cub to be done. I'll give it another day extra to make sure the tan is well and truly permeated.

Don't like? Don't look.
Yes, this animal is 100% real and dead. No, it was not killed by/for me. It's fur/hide/bone has been preserved for taxidermy, and spiritual purpose, and ultimately to be appreciated.  I love all animals and I treat all of my pelts with upmost respect...
